Jane Newkirk, CEO of Clinton County Community Action Partnership
Jane Newkirk is the CEO of Clinton County Community Action. She has been with CCCAP with 35 years and in her current role for 4 years. Janes passion for the agency is to fulfill the mission and develop strong community relationships to enable the delivery of sufficient services to those in need in the Clinton County community.
Shannon Jones, CEO, Groundwork Ohio
As CEO, Shannon Jones has transformed Groundwork Ohio into a highly effective and respected public policy and advocacy organization dedicated to championing early learning and healthy development strategies for Ohio’s youngest children. Using her unique knowledge of Ohio’s political landscape, Shannon has elevated Groundwork’s statewide advocacy efforts into a national model for movement building.
Prior to joining Groundwork Ohio, Shannon served in the Ohio General Assembly for a decade as a state representative and a state senator, and currently serves as a Warren County Commissioner and as a board member for the Health Policy Institute of Ohio, the Warren County United Way, the Warren County Foundation, and the County Commissioners Association of Ohio.
Teresa Borden, Head Start Director, Clinton County Community Action Partnership
Teresa Borden is the Director of Education for Clinton County Community Action Partnership in Clinton Co. She has her master's from Walden University and her BA from Wilmington College. She has worked in the field of early education and disabilities for 28 years. She is married with 3 adult children and several furry children. Clinton County Community Action is her favorite workplace.
Ruth Brindle, Clinton County Workforce Collaborative
Ruth Brindle joined the Port Authority in the spring of 2020. She has a background in nonprofit leadership and project management. Through her work as Executive Co-Director of Main Street Wilmington, Communications & Marketing Director of the Wilmington-Clinton County Chamber of Commerce, and Director of the Quaker Heritage Center of Wilmington College, she developed numerous community connections that benefit the Port Authority’s Workforce Development efforts. The Port Authority is a vital contributor to the Clinton County Workforce Collaborative, where she serves on the Steering Committee and the leadership team for the Barriers to Work group. She is also the Chair of the Clinton County Business Advisory Council.
She is Vice Chair of the Clinton County Regional Planning Commission Board, Chair of Economic Development Committee of the Main Street Wilmington Board, a member of the City of Wilmington Records Commission, and was a 2023 recipient of the Bob Ady Scholarship from the Mid-America Economic Development Council.
Stephanie Butler, Clinton County Workforce Collaborative
Stephanie Butler, the Director of Marketing Communications, Growth, and Outreach at Clinton Memorial Hospital in Wilmington, Ohio, is a seasoned professional with a passion for healthcare and community engagement. With a background in strategic marketing and communication, Stephanie brings her expertise to the forefront, leading initiatives that enhance the hospital's visibility, reputation, and outreach efforts. Her dedication to fostering meaningful connections within the community aligns seamlessly with the hospital's mission to provide exceptional care and support to its patients. Through innovative marketing strategies and collaborative partnerships, Stephanie plays a pivotal role in driving growth and advancing the hospital's commitment to serving the healthcare needs of Wilmington and beyond.
Sharon Gibbs, Fayette County Health Department Help Me Grow
Sharon Gibbs is the program manager for the Help Me Grow Home Visiting program in Fayette County, Ohio, and has dedicated the past three decades to shaping the lives of families and children in our community.
In honor of her work in the field of early childhood, she has been awarded the Irene Brandy-Hedden Early Childhood Education Leadership Award by the Office of Early Childhood Education. She is also a past recipient of the Fayette County Board of Developmental Disabilities Martha Wagner Community Service Award, presented in recognition of members of the community who have personally or professionally enhanced the quality of life of persons with individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.
Sharon has previously served as an Early Intervention supervisor and service coordinator, and a preschool liaison to the school districts. She is a current and past member of many advisory boards, committees, and coalitions, including the Family and Children First Council, Children Offered Resources Early, the Community Action Commission governing board, and more.
Sharon’s peers have shared that her work over the past 30 years has had a profound impact on generations of families. She has been a pillar of support, offering guidance, comfort, and reassurance during the early years of parenting.
Gina Grace, WIC Director of Madison County
Gina is a Registered Dietitian and Lactation Consultant serving as the Director for Madison county WIC. Gina first began working for WIC in 2021 as a health professional for Franklin County WIC. During her time there she worked in one of the largest clinics in the state and quickly developed a passion for breastfeeding promotion and providing nutrition support for underserved populations. Gina became the director for Madison County in January 2023 where her role has now expanded to include planning community events, such as WIC Farmer Markets and Breastfeeding Awareness Month celebrations, and serving on several committees to advocate for client needs. Gina is committed to and passionate about providing her clients with the necessary resources and education to have the most positive and equitable pregnancy, postpartum, and early childhood experiences.
Rhonda Molina, Early Childhood Mental Health Initiative of Warren County
Rhonda Ramsey Molina serves as President of Strategic Innovations Group, LLC, a full-service training and evaluation firm committed to transforming how organizations and communities achieve outcomes. Strategic Innovations Group has been contracted by the Mental Health and Recovery Board of Warren and Clinton Counties to facilitate the Warren County Early Childhood Mental Health Initiative. Throughout her career, Rhonda has served in leadership positions at the local, state, and national levels. She successfully translates research into practice for community partnerships addressing health and safety issues.
Recognized nationally as a master trainer, Rhonda has trained over 10,000 individuals from urban, suburban, rural, tribal, and frontier communities within 46 states. Rhonda couples her many years of non-profit leadership experience with emerging research to provide state-of-the-art training and facilitation to community groups and system leaders. Rhonda has presented principles of community collaboration internationally to community leaders in Russia, Chili, Africa, and Brazil.
